How to help out men

Nine words women use...

1.) Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are
right and you need to shut up.

2.) Five Minutes : If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour.
Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more
minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3.) Nothing : This is the calm before the storm. This means something,
and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing
usually end in fine.

4.) Go Ahead : This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

5.) Loud Sigh : This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement
often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an
idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing
with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

6.) That's Okay : This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman
can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard
before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

7.) Thanks : A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say
"you're welcome."

8.) Whatever : Is a women's way of saying, " You jerk!" oooor 'Whatever!'

9.) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning
this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but
is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's
wrong?' For the woman's response refer to #3. Then you RUN!

God spoke to me via my alarm clock

Over the past few months, my ankle has been hurting at night and I keep waking up. The other night I woke up several time as per usual. The only thing that was different was at 3:16am when I woke up, I looked at my alarm clock and saw the time. What is unusual is I wake up so often during the night that I don't bother looking at the alarm clock to see what time it is. Right away when I saw 3:16, I just felt better in my spirit. I was going through a rough time and God was talking to me. I feel so much better even though I am having health issues. For those of you that don't know the verse that came to my mind that night, here it is.
John 3:16

John 3:16 - King James Version
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16 - New International Version
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16 - New American Standard Bible
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 - New Living Translation
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16 - New King James Version
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 3:16 - Revised Standard Version
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16: A Simple Message for All of Us
In any translation or any language, the message from God is simple and clear. May you discover God's boundless love for your life today!

A Gift Just Because

Sean was given this from his boss as a gift for being a good worker. So, as you can see people do get thanked for their hard work, or at least at Sean's work they do. He's pretty happy with this drill set because it's so way better than the one he has.

I included a picture of this queen size BYO bed that I purchased this weekend. It will come in handy in May when we are on holidays. I was 40% off, so I just had to get it!

Finally some sunshine for Zippy

All though the sunshine didn't last long today, we took out the Golf for a spin with the top down. Sean wants to pimp out my convertible. We started by getting a new steering wheel. Unfortunately, the install kit is on order and won't be here for 2 weeks. We were having a problem with the horn on the car, so that was the main decision to buy a new steering wheel. Next he is planning on working on the side strips because a portion of the molding is missing at the front of the car. I've decided to name the car Zippy because it's so small that you can zip around easily in it.

Snow: A Curse and a 4 letter word

This morning I awoke to more snow. Geeesh! I am soooo sick of it and soooo jealous of my friend who will be enjoying some hot sunshine in Arizona this week. Underneath the snow was a 2 inch layer of frozen hail. What a treat that was to get off my car windows. This weather is crazy and it's driving me CRAZY!

Jacked out Kels :D

The last item I ordered from ebay arrived yesterday. I wasn't expecting it for another week, so that was a nice surprise.
The t-shirt has Jack Skellington on it. He is from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. It will go well with all of the other Jack stuff she got for her birthday and the Jack stuff she bought at Disneyland(:
I am hoping to get the 3-d version of the Movie. There is also The Nightmare Before Christmas graffic novels available @ Amazon. Maybe she'll buy some with her birthday money.

Happy 14th Birthday Kels

Kelsey is 14 today. We are having a Nightmare Before Christmas party for her on Friday. I've been having a lot of fun finding Jack Skellington Stuff for her party. The internet is great. I've made a Happy B-day banner from pictures I found on the internet. I also dressed a scarecrow up in a Santa suit and made it look some what like Santa Jack. We've won some items on ebay and are just waiting for them to come in...hopefully they arrive before Friday(:
The cake turned out awesome (ice cream cake from Safeway because we no longer have a DQ here)
The other day we were just looking around in the mall and my son found a Nightmare Before Christmas poster in one of the stores, so we had to buy it. The funny thing about that is I was looking on ebay for the poster and found it, but the shipping was too costly, so I didn't get it. So things just work out for the better sometimes because I really wanted to get her the poster. Kels has been Jack Skellington Crazy ever since our Disneyland Trip 2 months ago. So, it was fitting for her to have a Jack b-day. I"m sure she'll love all the stuff we found on ebay(: especially since she emailed me a bunch of ideas. LOL!
