This is Linda and I on our cruise. OK it wasn't really a cruise ship, but we did catch the new BC Ferry called The Coastal Renissance.

And here we are at Kye Bay. The weather was absolutely fantastic and we had a great time.
I am hoping to have some time this week to post some pictures from my Grandma's 90th Birthday party....so stay tuned(:

All my out of town appointments are all lined up for next week

Well, I have some good news about my ankle appointment. I have an appointment on May 13th in Kamloops. So, I get the ankle looked at on Tues and get my eye looked at on Wed. I was very happy because I was hoping not to have to make another trip to Kamloops for the ankle appointment since the gas prices are sky rocketing. Plus I will get all my appointments out of the way before we head out for holidays on May 15th.
My friend Robyn told me we are getting older and falling apart, so I am really hoping the doctors can put the pieces back together and get us on the mend.
One of the 7 blood tests the other day was to check for Arthritis. My sight in my left eye seems to almost be back to normal and I'm wondering if the perscription I have for my ankle has been helping my eye out or is it just time. By the time I get to Kelowna for eye photos I'll probably be seeing 20/20 again. My eye usually gets better in 4-6 weeks.

What's up???

Lots of people have been commenting that I haven't posted much on my blog lately. I can say that life has been keeping me pretty busy these past few weeks. I am having problems with my left eye again and I still have a swollen ankle..going on 10 months now. I am going to Kelowna next week for some photos of my eye and then I'm off to see the eye specialist in Kamloops.
I've had several blood tests (7) and another one tomorrow. I've also had a bone scan, several x-rays including a chest x-ray. It still is a mystery as to why my ankle is swollen. After the doctors get the blood work results, I will make another trip to Kamloops to see another specialist about my ankle. I am trying to stay positive through it all. I just hope my latter appointment will be on a Friday or Monday, so at least I can stay in Kamloops and visit my friends (that way forking out the gas won't hurt as much). Gas here is now $1.319/L and it keeps going up. Once my ankle is all fixed up, I think I will ride my bike to work and try to save on gas. I was thinking of buying an electric bike, that way I can get back up the hill home without killing myself.

I am looking forward to my holidays this month. We are going to the Island for my grandma's 90th birthday party. It will be a lot of fun to be around my family. Sean's family and a bunch of friends live on the Island too, so we will be kept very busy. I am looking forward to showing my nephews (and my sister& Paul too) around Courtenay. There is so many places to see, so I am hoping the weather will be warm and sunny.
