Happy B-day Sean

Been Busy with Grad and all....

Well, less than a month to go until grad. It looks like everything is coming together. Dress bought, shoes bought, hair stuff bought, appts made. Activities planned, decorations are coming along quite nicely. I think it's going to be a great celabration for this year's Grads, Class of 2012. Since this is my first grad as a parent, it is quite exciting. I can't believe how the time flew by. 13 yrs of school and now the next journey begins. For those of you that don't know, Kelsey will be going to VIU, Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo. Originally she was going to go to TRU Kamloops, but the cost of the dorms was quite expensive, so I was happy with Kelsey's 2nd choice of going to VIU. Of course being around her grandparents made that choice really easy. I am excited for her next journey in life. I would have prefered her to do her 1st year here at TRU WL, but Kelsey has her own plans and dreams and as much as she loves me, she is ready to move on. I guess that means I had better get saving $$$ for that ferry ride. I'm sure we will have to visit the island more often while she is there. Every thing is starting to wind down as summer draws closer. I don't know what I will ever do with all that spare time! We are trying to get the final numbers for people attending the Grad Lunch for Kelsey. Kelsey's 18th B-day

Kels has to work on her b-day, so we had her b-day on Saturday. Dinner out at California Sushi. Always a treat to go there. Then home for b-day cake, that I made (with a tiny bit of help)- Chocolate Eruption. Wow! She opened all her gifts and has one coming that I ordered from Home Hardware. It was a great celebration. Somehow she has talked me into giving her $$$ for dinner tomorrow. You know since she has to work.I caved LOL!

Didn't go to Hawaii.....for my 40th

Had a great 40th birthday staycation. Appletini's were great. Thanks Mom for decorating. Thanks Kels for the cake. And thanks everyone for the b-day wishes and gifts. This is a b-day to remember. Thanks Robin & family and my parents too for being there for it. I enjoyed our Evening of Murder<3

Sean looking not so sure about parking a Ford in our driveway....


This car we picked up super cheap. Mike turns 16 in 8 days and Kels is already driving. So here's a car they can drive and leave my Durango alone. Of course since this is MY car, I will have to drive it when Kels doesn't need it. Gas is half the cost in the Ford Focus vs my 8cyl Durango. Insurance is way cheaper too! Bonus! So there is now 5 cars in our driveways + the tent trailer. Good thing we have 2 driveways!
