The Fair was in town-The Midway

Kels and Mike came home early from their Dad's so they were able to go on some rides at the midway. Mike went on the Star Trooper 2000 3 times in a row and ended up getting sick. Both kids went on 101 Naughts. When Mike was on the ride, a kid in the front row puked. It was so gross. I'm sure the carnies are used to that. Crystal enjoyed herself too. Kels took her on some rides that they both could go on: The Tug Boat, the Going Bananas and the Mardi Gras mirrors/climbing/slide. Crystal went on the carousel and I stood beside her. It's not a very good picture of me, but we were having lots of fun. Crystal went on a few kiddie rides by herself and had a blast. I think I'll need to save up for when they come back at stampede, because 6 rides each wasn't really enough for the kids. We enjoyed some cotton candy while we were there too. It was a good day(:

Happy 15th Birthday Kels

Wow time sure goes by fast. Next year at this time my daughter will be driving! It also has been a very busy past 2 weeks. With my son's birthday, my birthday, my mother-in law's birthday, spring break and Kels' birthday. I took Kels and her friend Helena out to see Knowing at the movie theater on Tues. On Wed. Judy and I took Kels to the play Godspell. It was great, but we didn't get home until 10:30pm. Kels and I attempted to make a home made angel food cake before bed Wed. night. Where is grandma when you need her? It turned out ok, even though it stuck to the pan. It sure tasted good. It was worth staying up until midnight on a work night. We had home made pizza's for dinner and Jones Soda. Kels had shrimp on her pizza.

I had a really nice b-day

I had my favorite birthday meal-Greek(: Yummy! Greek Salad, breaded veal cuttlets (can't do lamb) and potato wedges with greek seasoning. It was very yummy. My parents bought the ingredients for dinner and even surprised me with a Black Forest Cake. Mom's camera is on the fritz again, so I took a picture of the cake on photobooth. You can see mom in the background trying to get her camera working. I think it's time for a new camera. I'm sure she has taken a million photos with hers and it has served her well. I see Staples have them on sale this week. They also bought me a 4 gb usb drive. My old one is only 256 mb, so now I'll be able to move bigger files from one computer to the next. Like a movie or something(:
I also celebrated my birthday with my sister and her family on Sunday. We had cake chocolate and rasparilla. Yummy! At work today I had chocolate chip cupcakes. It was a great b-day. Thank you everyone. Thanks for all the gifts too!

A month away from blogging

I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to blog. I've been doing 2 full time jobs at work with only 40 hrs to do it in. It's exhausting and the last thing I want to do is be on the computer after work. We are on holidays right now, but didn't have interent until today.. My son turned 13 and we had an awesome b-day party for him. It's spring break and we are enjoying our holidays. We've been busy all week. We went to the arcade, mini golf, laser tag, bowling and swimming/waterslides. When I get home, I'll post some pictures on my blog. Until then...catch ya on the flip side!
